Job summary

You will engage in professional learning, reflect on practice, and contribute to school priorities under range 1 or 2 classifications, with opportunities to mentor student teachers and support whole-school improvement.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the Victorian curriculum with literacy and numeracy integration.
• Experience responding to diverse student learning needs.
• Ability to plan high impact teaching strategies guided by how students learn.
• Experience in monitoring student learning and providing feedback.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups of students and individual students.
• Contributing to development, implementation, and evaluation of a curriculum program.
• Undertaking other classroom teaching-related and organisational duties as directed by the Principal.
• Participating in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Undertaking other non-teaching supervisory duties.
