atWork Australia is seeking a skilled BI and Analytics professional to support growing reporting and analytics needs. You will work under the Manager, BI and Finance, delivering scalable Power BI dashboards, data models and robust SQL/Databricks-based solutions.

In this role you will migrate reporting assets to Databricks, design robust data models, refine reports for usability and governance, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver actionable insights in a fast-paced, purpose-driven

Qualifications

• Experience with Databricks in a reporting/analytics environment.
• Strong Power BI development, dashboards, data models and DAX.
• Solid SQL skills in SQL Server environments.
• Experience designing optimised data models for reporting/analytics.
• Solid BI best practices, data governance and reporting standards.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Support migration of reporting assets from SQL Server to Databricks.
• Design and implement robust data models aligned with BI best practices.
• Develop, maintain and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Refactor existing reports to improve usability, performance and governance.
• Write and optimise SQL queries to extract, transform and validate data.
• Build DAX measures and semantic models to support decisions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver insights.
• Support continuous improvement across reporting, analytics and data management.
