Job summary

Turner & Townsend is a global professional services firm recruiting for experienced Technical Project Managers to join our Data Centre team across NSW. Responsibilities include managing complex projects, coordinating design and vendor activity, and ensuring safety and budget adherence.

You should have a degree in Construction Management or related field, plus 5–10 years of data centre project management experience and a solid understanding of the full project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Must have 5–10 years of project management experience in data centre or similar technical environment.
• Strong communication, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
• Thorough understanding of total project life cycle from inception to post-project review.
• Excellent knowledge of main PM concepts, tools and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex projects and programs as the key client interface.
• Develop working relationships, solve problems and drive projects to successful completion.
• Oversee design process to meet client requirements and manage expectations.
• Review plans, scheduling, costs and potential construction issues; implement savings.
• Ensure project safety and environmental compliance; manage timelines and reporting.
• Oversee budgets and advise on options to keep budgets on track.
• Coordinate vendor scope with overall delivery; draft and manage contracts.
