Job summary

Aurecon is seeking an Associate Structural Engineer to lead the delivery of complex data centre projects across Australia. You will shape structural solutions that are robust, buildable and aligned with client objectives, while developing and winning work in a fast-growing market.

In this senior role you will mentor engineers, lead client engagements and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative infrastructure outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
• CPEng and/or RPEV registration is desirable.
• 10–15 years of structural engineering experience.
• Experience delivering structural projects in a consulting environment.
• Experience in data centre sector or related complex buildings.

Responsibilities

• Lead pursuit and delivery of structural engineering projects within the data centre sector.
• Build relationships with developers, contractors and key industry stakeholders.
• Work directly with Design & Construct contractors to develop practical, buildable solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve constructability, programme outcomes and project value.
• Lead structural engineering design and delivery across major data centre projects.
• Support business development activities, client presentations, proposals and market engagement initiatives.
• Mentor developing engineers and foster a collaborative team culture.
• Work across multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated engineering outcomes.
