AWS is seeking a Data Center Technical Operations Engineer in SYD to oversee engineering operations within a data center environment. The role covers risk management, preventative and corrective maintenance of critical infrastructure, and vendor coordination to meet SLAs.

Responsibilities include 24/7 shift participation, on-site management of contractors, and collaboration with IT and business leaders to ensure safety, reliability, and efficiency of power and cooling systems across facilities.

Formación

• 2+ years of data center engineering experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Willingness to participate in 24/7 rotating shift pattern.
• Ability to manage on-site contractors and vendors in compliance with procedures and local laws.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in a 24/7 rotating shift pattern.
• Assist for the on-site management of contractors, sub-contractors and vendors, ensuring that all work performed is in accordance with established practices, procedures and local legislation.
• Maintain performance benchmarks, conduct analyses and prepare reports on all aspects of the critical facility infrastructure operations and maintenance.
• Generate Change Management requests and Incident Management tickets for events that DCEO are responsible to manage.
• Coordinate projects with DC managers to optimize plant safety, performance, reliability, sustainability and efficiency.
• Contribute to documentation relevant to business and facility operations.
• Assist with Work Order compliance to ensure all contractual SLAs are achieved.
• Interface with Infra Ops teams for day to day operational requirements.
• Assist in the resolution of any infrastructure engineering or services issue.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
