Job summary

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant work experience in data center/engineering operations.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and bend/twist as part of role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Undertake and support maintenance and emergency service for critical systems (switch-gear, generators, UPS, chillers, cooling towers, CRAC, fire systems).
• Install new rack capacity and provisioning of power/cooling.
• On-site management of contractors and vendors ensuring compliance with practices & local laws.
• Establish benchmarks, analyses, and reports for facility infrastructure operations and maintenance; manage assets.
• Create change management and incident tickets for facility events and assist in resolution.
• Collaborate with DC IT managers and leaders to coordinate operations, capacity, safety, reliability, and efficiency.
• Drive projects to increase capacity, efficiency, sustainability, and reliability; assist design, commissioning, and build-out of new DC facilities.
