Job summary

Amazon seeks a Facility Engineer to oversee Data Center Engineering Operations in our Sydney data center. You will manage 24/7 shift patterns, coordinate with vendors, and ensure reliability across critical infrastructure including power, cooling, and monitoring systems.

Responsibilities include performance benchmarking, reporting, change and incident management, and collaboration with IT and facilities teams to optimize safety, efficiency and capacity while delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma.
• 2+ years data center engineering experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a 24/7 rotating shift pattern.
• Assist on-site management of contractors and vendors.
• Maintain performance benchmarks and prepare reports on critical facility operations.
• Generate Change Management requests & Incident Management tickets.
• Coordinate with DC managers and leaders to optimize plant safety and efficiency.
• Assist with installation of racks and provision of power/cooling.
• Support routine maintenance and emergency services on critical systems.
