Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the world's leading cloud platform. The Network Development Engineer III will join the Data Center Life Cycle (DCLC) team to shape network design and delivery for DC Build and refresh programs across Australian data centers.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Fabric teams, adherence to safety, and driving automation to streamline deployments. Candidates should bring strong routing knowledge and Linux scripting experience.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of IP networking and routing protocols.
  • Experience with network operating systems (Cisco IOS, Junos).
  • Experience with major internet routing protocols (BGP, OSPF).
  • Experience working in Linux/Unix environments.

Responsibilities

  • Own the Network Engineering functions for programs like DC Build, DC refresh and Turndown.
  • Work with various network Fabric teams to design, and deliver HLDs, define process required for successful executions for these programs.
  • Execute these processes in projects and coordinate impacted network and infrastructure teams to ensure project success.
  • Ensure operational excellence, namely that all activities are done safely with no impact to customer traffic.
  • Define and implement automation required for the programs.
