Job summary

Precision Electronic Technologies is seeking a highly organised Data and Reporting Analyst for a part-time, fixed-term contract (5 months) with immediate start. You will transform data from multiple sources into clear reports, dashboards and practical tools to support operational decisions.

Work with the Senior Management Team to translate reporting needs into automated solutions using Google Sheets and other apps, ensuring timely, reliable information and a strong focus on data accuracy.

• Extract, collate and analyse data from an existing ERP system and other business information sources.

• Ensuring Management has timely and reliable information to monitor performance and make informed decisions.
• Creating and maintaining reporting content, information and scripts within the company's Google intranet environment.
• Working closely with the Senior Management Team to identify reporting requirements and translate them into practical reporting solutions.
• Consolidating information from different departments and data sources to provide a clear picture of business performance.
• Analysing trends, variances and performance against targets.
• Improving the accuracy, consistency and presentation of management information.

About the role

We are seeking a highly organised and analytical Data and Reporting Analyst to work closely with our Senior Management Team, transforming business data into clear, accurate and meaningful information that supports operational and strategic decision-making. This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys working with data, understanding how a business operates and turning disconnected information from multiple sources into practical reports, dashboards and management tools.

About you

• Previous experience in data analysis, business reporting, management reporting or a similar role
• Experience extracting and analysing information from an ERP system
• Strong spreadsheet skills, particularly Google Sheets and/or Microsoft Excel
• Experience creating dashboards, KPI reports and management reports
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• The ability to interpret large amounts of information and present it in a clear and meaningful format
• High attention to detail and a strong focus on data accuracy
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to work directly with senior managers
• An understanding of operational and sales performance measures
• The ability to manage multiple reporting requirements and deadlines
• Experience in a manufacturing environment would be highly regarded, particularly where you have worked with operational, production, inventory, sales or financial data. Excellent knowledge of Google Workspace, Google Sheets and Sites, Excel as well as dashboard reporting tools.
