Precision Electronic Technologies is seeking a Data and Reporting Analyst for a part-time, fixed-term role. The candidate will transform business data into clear, actionable information and dashboards to support operational and strategic decisions.

About the role
We are seeking a highly organised and analytical Data and Reporting Analyst to work closely with our Senior Management Team, transforming business data into clear, accurate and meaningful information that supports operational and strategic decision-making. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with data, understanding how a business operates and turning disconnected information from multiple sources into practical reports, dashboards and management tools.
Key responsibilities
Extracting, collating and analysing data from an existing ERP system and other business information sources
Developing regular Operations, Sales and Management Reports
Creating and maintaining meaningful KPI dashboards and performance reports
Developing automated and user-friendly reporting tools using Google Sheets and other available applications
Ensuring Management has timely and reliable information to monitor performance and make informed decisions
Creating and maintaining reporting content, information and scripts within the company's Google intranet environment.
Working closely with the Senior Management Team to identify reporting requirements and translate them into practical reporting solutions
Consolidating information from different departments and data sources to provide a clear picture of business performance
Analysing trends, variances and performance against targets
Improving the accuracy, consistency and presentation of management information
About you
Previous experience in data analysis, business reporting, management reporting or a similar role
Experience extracting and analysing information from an ERP system
Strong spreadsheet skills, particularly Google Sheets and/or Microsoft Excel
Experience creating dashboards, KPI reports and management reports
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
The ability to interpret large amounts of information and present it in a clear and meaningful format
High attention to detail and a strong focus on data accuracy
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to work directly with senior managers
An understanding of operational and sales performance measures
The ability to manage multiple reporting requirements and deadlines
Experience in a manufacturing environment would be highly regarded, particularly where you have worked with operational, production, inventory, sales or financial data. Excellent knowledge of Google Workspace, Google Sheets and Sites, Excel as well as dashboard reporting tools.
