Job summary

The Department of Employment and Workplace Relations is seeking an APS6 Data Analyst to support the Workforce Futures branch with robust data analysis and policy guidance across multiple Australian locations, including Bendigo, VIC.

The role focuses on integrating diverse data sources, developing analytical datasets and delivering clear insights for briefs, dashboards and presentations in a collaborative, government context.

Responsibilities

• Conducting qualitative and quantitative data analysis to inform robust policy advice.
• Using a range of data sources and methods to support delivery of projects and other priorities.
• Developing and maintaining analytical datasets, code and outputs, ensuring methodological rigour and continuous improvement.
• Preparing analytical outputs and translating into clear, insights for briefs, summaries, presentations, dashboards or other products.
• Working collaboratively in a team environment, and with technical and enabling teams.
