Job summary

The Department of Employment and Workplace Relations is seeking an APS6 Data Analyst to identify, obtain and analyze diverse data sources for workforce and skills policy insights. You will contribute to modelling and reporting, ensuring data quality and transparent methodologies.

You will engage with stakeholders, support dashboards and briefs, and work within the Skills Supply and Demand Modelling team to strengthen participation and employment outcomes across Australia.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting qualitative and quantitative data analysis.
• Ability to develop analytical datasets and outputs.
• Ability to translate analytical outputs into briefs, summaries and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct qualitative and quantitative data analysis to inform policy advice.
• Use data sources and methods to support delivery of projects and priorities.
