Job summary

Sharon AI is seeking a Data Analyst & Reporting Engineer – AI Operations to turn operational data into actionable insights. You’ll build and enhance dashboards, automate reports, and support service performance visibility across Australian and global AI Factory operations.

You’ll collaborate with Service Assurance, L2/L3 teams, Customer Success and stakeholders to drive data quality and timely reporting, enabling proactive decision-making and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in data analytics, operational reporting or BI within complex tech environments.
• Strong Power BI skills including data modelling and dashboard development.
• Experience with multiple data sources, APIs, databases and data validation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and improve operational dashboards and reports (Incidents, SLA/KPI, infrastructure health).
• Analyse data to identify trends, risks and opportunities, translating findings into insights.
• Maintain accurate SLA, KPI and service-performance reporting.

The Role

As Sharon AI continues to grow, we're looking for a talented Data Analyst & Reporting Engineer – AI Operations to join our Operations team and play an important role in turning operational data into clear, actionable insights, reporting to our Service Operations Manager.

In this role, you'll develop and continuously improve operational reporting, automated dashboards, analytics and data automation across Sharon AI's Australian and global AI Factory and Data Centre operations. You'll work closely with Service Assurance, L2/L3 technical teams, Customer Success and wider stakeholders, helping provide clear visibility of service performance, risks and improvement opportunities.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Develop, maintain and continuously improve operational dashboards and reports covering Incidents, Change, Problems, SLA/KPI performance, infrastructure health and overall service performance.
• Analyse operational data to identify trends, recurring issues, performance degradation, service risks and improvement opportunities, translating findings into clear and actionable insights.
• Maintain accurate and timely SLA, KPI and service-performance reporting, ensuring measures, definitions and reporting logic align with operational and contractual requirements.
• Ensure reporting data is accurate, complete, consistent and traceable across source systems, identifying and resolving data-quality issues and discrepancies.
• Design and maintain automation for data collection, reporting, alerts and repeatable operational processes using Power Automate, APIs, scripting and other suitable tools.
• Build trend views, historical comparisons, threshold indicators and early-warning insights to support proactive operational decision-making.
• Produce clear reports, summaries and visualisations for leadership, Customer Success, Service Assurance, technical teams and other stakeholders.
• Continuously improve reporting frameworks, data models, dashboards and analytical methods to strengthen operational visibility and efficiency.
• Take ownership of reporting quality and timely delivery, translating complex operational data into meaningful business and operational intelligence.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years’ relevant experience in data analytics, operational reporting, business intelligence or performance reporting within complex operational or technology environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, data modelling, dashboard development, data transformation and reporting automation.
• Experience working with multiple data sources, APIs, databases, spreadsheets and operational systems, with strong data validation and reconciliation capability.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends, anomalies, correlations and root causes.
• Ability to present complex operational and service-performance data through clear, concise and meaningful dashboards, reports and visualisations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate data into clear operational messages.
• A proactive, collaborative and continuous-improvement mindset with strong attention to detail.
• A genuine interest in AI, technology and what Sharon AI is building.

Nice to have:

• Working knowledge of SQL, Power Query/DAX, Python, Power Automate or equivalent analytics and automation tools.
• Experience analysing and reporting on SLA, KPI, Incident, Problem, infrastructure or service-performance data, including Lean Six Sigma or root-cause analysis methodologies.
• Microsoft PL-300: Power BI Data Analyst, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent quality/process-improvement certification.
