Job description

Sydney, NSW | People & Culture | Full-time
The work you do here reaches further than your job description.

At CIMIC, we are the team behind the operating companies that deliver some of the most significant infrastructure projects across Australia and the Asia Pacific. We connect capability, expertise and services across the Group, helping CPB Contractors, UGL, Leighton Asia, Sedgman, Pacific Partnerships and EIC Activities focus on the work only they can do.

We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our People & Culture team in Sydney. This role is for someone who wants to apply deep expertise across multiple operating companies. Someone who wants to influence outcomes beyond a single project or business. And someone who wants to work with specialists across one of the world's leading construction and infrastructure groups.

What you will do

Ensure workforce data is accurate, reconciled and ready for reporting by managing recurring data preparation and quality processes.

Support month-end data ingestion activities across multiple P&C systems, monitoring pipelines, resolving issues and completing control checks.

Maintain and enhance data connections, workforce datasets and data models within Microsoft Fabric to support trusted analytics and reporting.

Standardise data definitions, business rules and workforce metrics to improve consistency across the P&C function.

Document data architecture, processes and reporting methodologies while translating technical concepts into clear insights for stakeholders.

What you will bring

Experience working with workforce data, reporting, analytics or data engineering concepts, supported by strong SQL, Python and data modelling skills.

Exposure to Microsoft Fabric, data ingestion pipelines and business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau is highly regarded.

Strong problem-solving, communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to explain technical information to non-technical audiences.

A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement, automation and the practical application of emerging technologies and AI.

A commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes while demonstrating the Group Principles of Integrity, Accountability, Innovation and Delivery.

Career mobility across operating companies, sectors and functions, with pathways to CPB Contractors, UGL, Leighton Asia, Sedgman, Pacific Partnerships and EIC Activities.

Access to ACS University, providing leadership development, executive education and learning opportunities across the ACS global network.
