Job summary

AGL Energy is seeking a Data Analyst to drive analytics and insights within the Electrification & Innovation team. You will build and maintain dashboards, pipelines, and behavioural models to inform product decisions and growth strategies.

You will report to the Data Product Manager and collaborate with Business Analysts and Product Owners across E&I, delivering data-driven insights that support operational efficiency and customer value.

Qualifications

• Four or more years’ experience in a data role.
• Degree in Engineering, Computer or Data Science, Mathematics or a related field.
• Proficient in SQL and Python.
• Proficient with Power BI and Tableau for data visualisation.
• Experience building data pipelines and data transformation.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
• Curiosity about customer behaviour and energy product interaction.
• Experience with Azure-based data platforms such as Databricks.

Responsibilities

• Manage the development and delivery of data, data visualisation, and insights projects.
• Apply deep analysis to understand customer interactions with E&I offerings.
• Design, build and maintain data pipelines and transformations from various sources.
• Create dashboards to visualise program performance and outcomes.
• Build customer behavioural data models to guide decision-making.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and Product Owners on analytics projects.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to present findings and recommendations.
