AGL Energy is hiring a Data Analyst to drive analytics for electrification products and customer behaviours. You will build and maintain data pipelines, dashboards, and behavioural models to guide business decisions.

Qualifications

• Four or more years’ experience in a data role.
• Degree in Engineering, Computer or Data Science, Mathematics or related field.
• Proficient in SQL and Python.
• Proficient in data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
• Experience building data pipelines and data transformations.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to influence decisions through data insights.
• Curiosity about customer behaviour and energy product interactions.
• Experience using data platforms, especially Azure Databricks.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Manage data, data visualization, and insights projects for E&I growth and efficiency.
• Analyse how customers interact with E&I offerings to maximise value.
• Design, build and maintain data pipelines and transformations.
• Create dashboards to visualise program performance.
• Build customer behavioural data models to support decision-making.
• Identify opportunities to link insights to business outcomes.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and Product Owners on analytics projects.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to present findings and recommendations.
