Job summary

AGL Energy Limited in Docklands, VIC, is seeking a Senior Analyst for Performance & Planning within the Consumer Growth team. You will translate complex data into clear insights that influence business decisions, owning forecasting, budgeting, and performance frameworks.

This role partners with Finance, Marketing and Operations to challenge assumptions and drive investment priorities, growth initiatives and strategic planning across the unit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, finance, economics, analytics or related field.
• Experience owning or improving performance frameworks, planning processes or commercial analytical outputs.
• Advanced financial modelling and scenario analysis capability.
• Strong numerical, analytical and commercial problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve performance frameworks, KPIs and reporting.
• Lead budget planning, channel OPEX management and investment prioritisation.
• Lead forecasting analysis and scenario modelling.
• Deliver commercial analysis that quantifies opportunities and supports decisions.
• Contribute to business planning with cross-functional inputs.
• Provide strategic and commercial insights influencing priorities.
