Job summary

Espec is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager in Darwin to plan, execute, and lead electrical construction projects within defined scope, time, and budget. You will define goals, manage risks, budgets, and resources, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance across on-site and office teams.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting, and communication skills, with a track record of delivering complex projects.

Qualifications

• Electrical trade qualification or relevant electrical background.
• Proven experience managing electrical construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical standards and safety compliance.
• Experience overseeing budgets, schedules and project documentation.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute electrical and construction projects within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Define goals, deliverables, and success criteria.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation and contingency plans.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and resources.
• Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver project.
• Track performance metrics and report risks and updates to stakeholders.
• Facilitate meetings and maintain clear communication across teams.
• Maintain project documentation including plans, permits, and compliance records.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and local building codes.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to project team.
