Job summary

McMahon Services is seeking an experienced Site Manager or Supervisor to lead civil, demolition and remediation works in Darwin. You will coordinate crews, subcontractors and resources, ensuring safe, on-time delivery across a diverse project environment.

The role welcomes civil site leadership backgrounds, including demolition or remediation specialists, with a strong emphasis on planning, problem solving and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Site Manager or Site Supervisor or similar construction leadership role.
• Strong WHS knowledge and commitment to safe project delivery.
• Ability to manage multiple work fronts and changing project priorities.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of day-to-day site delivery across civil, demolition and remediation works.
• Lead and coordinate site crews, subcontractors and work fronts.
• Coordinate plant, equipment, labour and project resources.
• Plan and sequence upcoming works with Project Managers and project teams.
• Monitor programme, productivity, quality and project requirements.
• Lead pre-starts, toolbox meetings and daily site coordination.
• Review drawings, scopes, methodologies and project documentation.
• Identify constructability issues, changing site conditions and project risks.
• Coordinate subcontractors and ensure works are delivered to project requirements.
• Support commercial awareness around productivity, resources, delays and variations.
• Maintain accurate site records, diaries and reporting.
• Ensure SWMS, risk assessments and relevant safety controls are implemented.
• Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and project stakeholders.
• Mentor and support site teams and developing leaders.
• Lead by example and create a positive, accountable and safety-focused site culture.
