Job summary

Seymour Whyte Constructions in Brisbane invites an experienced Structures Supervisor to oversee complex civil works at the Cressbrook Dam Safety Improvement Project. You will coordinate subcontractors, manage fronts and interfaces, monitor performance and ensure WHS, quality and budget adherence on a landmark water infrastructure upgrade.

The role anchors on-site at Biarra with generous uplift, DIDO and LAFHA options, and a chance to deliver high-profile structures across a major dam safety

Qualifications

• Relevant Certificate III and IV qualifications (or substantial progress toward completion).
• Significant experience delivering civil infrastructure construction projects with structures experience.
• Strong leadership, communication and mentoring skills, including delivering pre-starts and toolbox talks.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise structural construction activities to ensure safe, efficient and high-quality project delivery.
• Oversee delivery of major structural works including large-scale concrete wall construction and formwork.
• Work with Engineers to develop construction programs, short-term planning and sequencing of works.
• Manage subcontractors, labour, plant and equipment to maximise productivity and ensure scope, specs and quality.
• Facilitate planning through pre-starts, toolbox talks and team meetings; maintain visibility of upcoming works.
