Job summary

Seymour Whyte Constructions – Brisbane QLD is seeking a Civil Site Engineer to join the project team for the Cressbrook Dam Safety Improvement Project. Based on site in Biarra, the role supports on‑site engineering and construction activities, ensuring works are delivered efficiently and to project standards.

You will coordinate civil construction activities, monitor progress and quality, and manage subcontractors while supporting cost control and stakeholder coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) required.
• Knowledge of safety legislation, Australian Standards and industry codes expected.
• Strong planning, monitoring and reporting capabilities.
• Commitment to quality, safety and environmental practices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise civil construction activities to support efficient project delivery.
• Monitor progress, quality and productivity, ensuring compliance with project specifications, ITPs and relevant standards.
• Manage subcontractors, site documentation and reporting requirements.
• Support cost control, planning and stakeholder coordination across the project.
• Promote safety, quality and environmental compliance on site.
