Zusammenfassung

Seymour Whyte is seeking an experienced Structures Supervisor to oversee structural construction activities on the Cressbrook Dam Safety Improvement Project, based on site in Biarra, Queensland. You will coordinate subcontractors, manage fronts and interfaces, and drive safety, quality and productivity to meet project objectives.

Qualifikationen

• Certificate III/IV construction qualifications or substantial progress toward completion.
• Extensive civil infrastructure experience with structures works.
• Proven leadership, communication and mentoring skills.
• Understanding of WHS, environmental requirements and ITP compliance.
• Ability to read technical drawings and align with construction programmes.
• Budget management experience and familiarity with project forecasts.

Aufgaben

• Plan, coordinate and supervise structural construction activities to ensure safe, efficient and high‑quality project delivery.
• Oversee the delivery of major structural works, including large‑scale concrete wall construction and formwork.
• Work with Engineers to develop construction programmes, including planning, resources and sequencing.
• Manage subcontractors, labour, plant and equipment to maximise productivity and maintain scope and quality.
• Lead pre-starts, toolbox talks and team meetings to keep upcoming works visible and performance high.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with WHS, environmental, quality and client requirements.
• Maintain accurate daily records, timesheets and cost information for project controls and claims.
