Job summary

Seymour Whyte, in alliance with SMEC and Toowoomba Regional Council, has been selected to deliver the Cressbrook Dam Safety Improvement Project in the Toowoomba Region. We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to coordinate the on-site structural works, ensuring activities are planned, managed and delivered in line with project objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) with civil infrastructure experience.
• Experience delivering civil infrastructure projects with structures.
• Experience with head contracts and subcontract agreements.
• Exposure to cost management and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage on-site structures activities.
• Manage subcontractors, labour, plant and site resources.
• Monitor construction progress, risks and issues.
• Oversee forecasting, cost control and reporting.
• Prepare SWMS and ITPs.
• Mentor engineers and support site meetings.
