Job summary

Blackbook Executive Pty in Melbourne is seeking a Business Development & Sales Executive to grow dairy technology accounts across Victoria. You will build farmer and dealer relationships, identify opportunities, and support dealer growth while representing the company at field days and industry events.

This role requires a commercially driven salesperson who enjoys field work, with strong communication and negotiation skills, and willingness to travel throughout Victoria to engage with customers

Qualifications

• Experience engaging with farmers, dealers, distributors or agricultural customers.
• B2B sales or business development experience within dairy, agricultural technology, livestock technology or a closely aligned industry.
• Commercially driven, proactive and comfortable taking ownership of a territory.
• Confident communicator with strong relationship-building, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
• Willingness to travel throughout Victoria and regularly engage with customers in the field.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with dairy farmers and dealer networks.
• Proactively identify opportunities to grow sales and develop existing customer accounts.
• Support dealers to develop their capability, convert opportunities and grow their business.
• Engage with farmers to understand their operational challenges and recommend suitable solutions.
• Represent the business at farm visits, field days and industry events.
• Work closely with internal teams and international product stakeholders to support customer opportunities and deliver commercial outcomes.
