Job summary

IXOM is seeking a Technical Account Manager in Warrnambool to support dairy and food manufacturing customers across Victoria. The role blends technical consulting, account management and business development, with regular regional travel and remote work flexibility.

You will work with our national team to deliver customer solutions and grow revenue. Based in Warrnambool or the Southwest region, you will engage with major producers, troubleshoot challenges and drive long-term value through

Qualifications

• Experience within dairy, food, beverage, chemicals or related manufacturing industries.
• Technical qualifications or industry experience in a relevant discipline.
• Experience in account management, sales, technical service or customer-facing roles.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• A proactive approach to business development and identifying growth opportunities.
• Ability to influence, negotiate and engage with customers at multiple levels.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of dairy and food manufacturing customers.
• Act as a technical subject matter expert across dairy cleaning and production process applications.
• Support technical service teams with troubleshooting, product trials and customer projects.
• Develop strong customer relationships and identify opportunities for business growth.
• Generate leads through customer engagement, site visits and market activity.
• Contribute to tenders, proposals, pricing submissions and contract discussions.
• Work closely with Customer Service, Supply Chain and Product Management teams to deliver outstanding customer outcomes.
