Job summary

CyberCX, part of Accenture, is seeking a Cyber Strategy & Consulting Manager to lead project teams and act as a trusted cyber advisor to senior stakeholders in Australia’s largest organisations. You will provide direction to consultants, build client trust, and demonstrate excellence in planning and execution.

This role requires strong cyber knowledge, strategic consulting experience, and the ability to manage client relationships throughout the engagement lifecycle, from opportunity

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in a global consulting firm or large technology company, with cyber strategy, privacy or data risk focus.
• Ability to communicate ideas with structure, clarity, and precision.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in cyber security, business administration, accounting, finance, information systems, computer engineering or related field.
• Experience coaching, mentoring, and leading others to build capabilities and deliver high-quality outcomes for customers.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering impact through high-quality delivery and strategic engagements.
• Strong strategic mindset and ability to align engagements with broader business context.
• Experience identifying opportunities and helping qualify and sell engagements.

Responsibilities

Job description

This role is with CyberCX, part of Accenture.

The Cyber Strategy & Consulting Manager is responsible for leading project teams of Cyber Strategy specialists and acting as a trusted cyber security advisor to senior stakeholders in Australia's largest organisations.

This is achieved by providing direction and support to consultants as part of engagement teams, and through building client trust by communicating with influence, demonstrating excellence in planning and execution, and contributing deep cyber security knowledge.

This role actively contributes throughout the client engagement life cycle, from identifying and qualifying opportunities, to delivery and closure, in addition to ongoing management of client relationships.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate customers' business needs and advise on strategic cyber security planning
• Manage all or part of a relationship with customers, including change management, account planning, and development of key relationships to lead to follow-on work
• Manage engagement teams, including project scoping and definition, work plan development and implementation, meeting preparation and facilitation, and project management
• Plan and coordinate the resources necessary to complete product implementation and preparation of major strategic proposals
• Perform rigorous analysis to identify potential value creating opportunities, developing cohesive conclusions, and presenting key findings at the executive level
• Identify, recommend, and establish innovative service offerings and ways to improve existing approaches through a thorough analysis and consultation process. Foster a culture of excellence. Challenge the way we do things and look for opportunities to improve on an ongoing basis
• Actively build cross-Practice and cross-Function collaboration across CyberCX and continuously look for ways to add value. Facilitate communication, partnerships and cross-pollination across the business to allow teams to better engage and service customers
• Lead, coach and build high performing Strategy & Consulting Practice teams by developing others’ skills and increasing knowledge of CyberCX and Practice products, services, capabilities
• Create a culture of empowerment and accountability through consistent engagement, stretch and coaching. Understand each team member’s skills, drivers and aspirations

Preferred Qualifications, Experience & Skills

• 5 years’ experience working for a global consulting firm or large technology company, with experience across cyber strategy, privacy or data management orstrategic risk.
• Ability to communicate ideas and concepts with structure, clarity, and precision
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in cyber security, business administration, accounting, finance, information system, computer engineering or related field is preferred.
• Experience coaching, mentoring, and leading others to build their capabilities, encourage employee engagement, promote a positive learning environment and deliver high quality outcomes for customers
• A demonstrated track record of providing impactful client outcomes through high-quality delivery, effective team management and delegation
• Strong experience in applying a strategic mindset and understanding how engagements fit into a broader business context
• Experience identifying opportunities and helping qualify and sell engagements
