Job summary

CyberCX, part of Accenture, is seeking a Governance, Risk & Compliance consultant to drive quality outcomes for complex cyber security projects. You will identify and manage cyber risk, engage stakeholders, and contribute to customer relationships within a high-performing team.

The role emphasizes a deep GRC understanding, independent project delivery, and collaboration across CyberCX and Accenture units. A security-minded, proactive professional is expected.

Qualifications

  • NV1 security clearance (or eligibility to obtain one).
  • Bachelor level tertiary qualification in cyber security, forensics, or similar field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience dealing with a diverse range of information / cyber security projects and challenges.
  • Effective stakeholder engagement and communication skills enabling contribution to customer relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to build scalable solutions.
  • Deep theoretical understanding of Governance, Risk and Compliance domain for complex projects.
  • Ideally pursuing major security certifications (CISM, CISA, CISSP, ISO LA/LI).

Responsibilities

  • Work with our customer base to assist them in identifying and effectively managing cyber security risk.
  • Lead standard, and support complex, cyber security projects in the Governance, Risk and Compliance domain.
  • Prepare and present high-quality reports detailing security issues, making recommendations, and identifying solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of customer relationships by working with Customer Sales and Customer Solutions teams and Marketing teams.
  • Demonstrate strong alignment with CyberCX values to peers and customers.
  • Actively collaborate across CyberCX and continuously look for ways to add value by facilitating communication and cross-pollination.

TheConsultant – Governance, Risk & Compliance(GRC)has agood theoretical understanding of the Governance, Risk and Compliance domain that allows them to perform complex projects independently and actively contribute to the development of customer relationships.

As ahigh performing and proficient consultant,theConsultant –GRCis responsible fordrivingquality outcomes to meet customer expectations,eitherautonomouslyor underthedirectionof other team members.

KeyRoles&Responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications, Experience & Skills
  • NV1 security clearance (or eligibility to obtain one)
  • Bachelor level tertiary qualification in cyber security, forensics, or similar field
  • Minimum 1year of experience dealing with a diverse range of information / cyber security projects and challenges, preferably overa number ofindustry domains
  • Effectivestakeholder engagement and communication skillsthat enable them toactively contribute to the development of customer relationships
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to build sustainable, scalable solutions and processes to meet complex operational problems
  • Ahigh performing and proficient consultantwith adeep theoretical understanding of Governance, Risk and Compliance domain that allows them to perform complex projects independently
  • Skilled in responding to setbacks in an agile and resilient manner
  • Ideally (but not necessarily) in the process of taking on at least one major security certification (CISM, CISA, CISSP, ISO LA/LI)
