Job summary

Novus is seeking a Project Coordinator for its cyber security and IT operations group in Sydney or Melbourne. The role is hybrid, with 2 days per week in the office, and contracts until June 2027. Start ASAP to support two programs: cyber security uplift and IT service operations Centre of Excellence.

You will work closely with delivery leads and leadership on budgets, forecasts, schedules and reporting, ensuring cost awareness and timely updates across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Experience tracking budgets, forecasts and actuals in a large organisation.
• Understanding of cyber security functions and how they fit together.
• Use of AI tools in day-to-day work; familiarity with AI agents is a plus.
• Experience with SAP or similar finance systems; Jira is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Track budgets, forecasts and actuals across multiple cost centres and flag variances.
• Maintain schedules, RAID logs and governance packs for delivery leads.
• Prepare reporting for senior leadership and board-level material.
• Keep stakeholders informed with clear, regular updates.
• Organise cyber awareness activities across Sydney and Melbourne.
• Identify process improvements and leverage AI to speed workflows.
