Job summary

V/Line is seeking an Information Security Designer to act as a trusted cyber security advisor, partnering with business and technology teams to design secure, resilient and compliant solutions across our technology environment in Melbourne.

You will leverage expertise across cloud, infrastructure, applications, identity and data security to protect critical services, influence major technology initiatives and strengthen the security of Victoria's transport network.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cyber security and security design roles.
• Hands-on advisory experience with control frameworks (NIST, ISO27001).
• Experience in data security controls like DLP and IAM.
• Understanding IT governance and risk management in security.
• Knowledge of cloud security across IaaS, PaaS, SaaS.
• Ability to engage with stakeholders in autonomous environments.
• Tertiary qualification in CS or cyber security.

Responsibilities

• Design secure, resilient, and compliant solutions for V/Line's technology environment.
• Partner with business and technology teams to embed security into major initiatives.
• Advise on cloud, infrastructure, applications, identity, and data security across programs.
• Support enterprise-scale technology programs to strengthen security and resilience.
