Job summary

Transport for NSW is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Architect capable of translating complex security requirements into practical designs. The role spans IT, OT, and IoT, ensuring security-by-design across large-scale transport programs and platforms.

You will develop architecture standards, provide assurance to projects, and align with SABSA, NIST, ISO, and ISA/IEC 62443 frameworks. Hybrid role based in Macquarie Park; flexible work options may be available.

Qualifications

• Proven experience across IT, OT, and IoT environments.
• Strong understanding of security frameworks and architecture governance.
• Desirable certifications such as SABSA, CISSP, CISM, or GICSP.

• Define and assure cyber security architecture across IT, OT, and IoT environments.
• Ensure security is embedded into designs and aligned with standards, frameworks, and risk appetite.
• Develop cyber security architecture standards and patterns; provide architectural assurance to projects.
