Job summary

V/Line is expanding its cyber security team in Melbourne to protect essential transport services. The Information Security Designer will partner with technology teams to design secure, resilient, and compliant solutions across cloud, infrastructure, applications, identity and data security.

You will work with architects, engineers and business stakeholders to embed security into major programs, ensuring governance and standards are applied across IT and operational technology domains across

Qualifications

• Established experience in cyber security design or similar.
• Hands-on advisory experience with control frameworks (NIST, ISO27001).
• Experience with intrusion detection, AV/anti-malware, DLP, IAM and log management.
• Knowledge of security concepts: risk, architecture, threat management, governance.
• Familiarity with ITIL, CSA, OWASP, NIST CSF & SPs, ISO 27001.

Responsibilities

• Design secure, resilient solutions across cloud, infrastructure, apps, identity and data security.
• Partner with architects and project teams to embed security into programs.
• Advise on security standards and governance for enterprise technology initiatives.
