Job summary

IT Alliance is seeking a Cyber Security Architect for a Federal Government client in Canberra. You will design secure cloud architectures in Azure, conduct security reviews and risk assessments in line with ISM/PSPF/Essential Eight.

The role requires strong knowledge of Entra ID, Defender, Purview, and Microsoft 365 security capabilities, with experience aligning security guidance to cloud-based solutions for government projects.

Job description

One of our Federal Government clients is looking for Cyber Security Architect in Canberra.

We are looking for the following Skills/Experience:

• Demonstrated experience designing and securing solutions within Microsoft Azure cloud environments, including identity, network, platform and data security.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft security technologies including Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Purview and Microsoft 365 security capabilities.
• Demonstrated experience conducting security architecture reviews, threat assessments and cyber security risk assessments for cloud-based solutions.
• Experience developing secure cloud architectures and providing security advice aligned with the Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM), Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) and Essential Eight.
