Job summary

IT Alliance is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Analyst for a Federal Government client in Canberra. The role focuses on delivering cyber security assurance, accreditation, governance, and risk management within Microsoft Azure environments.

The candidate will develop SSPs, risk assessments, and ATO documentation, and apply knowledge of Azure Defender, Entra ID, Purview, and Fabric to meet ISM/PSPF requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering cyber security assurance, accreditation, governance and risk management activities within Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
• Experience developing and maintaining cyber security documentation and accreditation artefacts, including SSPs, risk assessments and ATO documentation.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft cloud security services including Azure, Entra ID, Defender, Purview and Microsoft 365 security capabilities and across data platforms such as Fabric and Purview.
• Knowledge of Australian Government cyber security frameworks and standards including ISM, PSPF and security accreditation processes.

Job description

One of our Federal Government clients is looking for Senior Cyber Security Analysts in Canberra.

We are looking for the following Skills/Experience:

• Demonstrated experience delivering cyber security assurance, accreditation, governance and risk management activities within Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
• Experience developing and maintaining cyber security documentation and accreditation artefacts, including System Security Plans (SSPs), security risk assessments and Authority to Operate (ATO) documentation.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft cloud security services including Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Purview and Microsoft 365 security capabilities and across data platforms (such as Microsoft Fabric and Purview).
• Demonstrated knowledge of Australian Government cyber security frameworks and standards, including the Information Security Manual (ISM), Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) and security accreditation processes.
