Job summary

People Connect ICT Solutions in Canberra is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Architect to design and review secure Microsoft Azure and cloud architectures. The role focuses on cloud security architecture, security assurance, risk assessments, accreditation and technical documentation.

The candidate will provide expertise in Entra ID, Defender, Purview and Microsoft 365 security, support security accreditation and ATO processes, and ensure compliance with ISM, PSPF and Essential Eight.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and reviewing secure Microsoft Azure and cloud architectures.
• Ability to conduct security architecture reviews and risk assessments.
• Develop security standards, patterns and technical documentation.
• Proficiency with Entra ID, Defender, Purview and Microsoft 365 security.
• Experience supporting security accreditation and Authority to Operate (ATO) processes.
• Identify security risks and recommend remediation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with ISM, PSPF and Essential Eight.

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Cyber Security or Information Security.

Mandatory Requirements

• Must be eligible and willing to obtain NV1 security clearance.
• Must successfully complete ACIC Organisational Suitability Assessment (OSA).
