Job summary

Experis Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Architect to lead the design, integration and uplift of enterprise cyber security capabilities within a large government environment in Canberra. This 12-month contract, onsite, offers the opportunity to shape security architecture across monitoring, identity, endpoints, cloud and network domains.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Cyber Security Architecture within large enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise with SIEM platforms, enterprise logging and security monitoring.
• Hands‑on knowledge of Microsoft security technologies including Entra ID, Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Identity and Purview.
• Experience designing and securing Azure and hybrid cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of vulnerability management, network security, CASB and secure web gateway technologies.
• Ability to develop target architectures, technical roadmaps and security design documentation.
• Knowledge of Essential Eight, ISM, PSPF and ASD security guidance.
