City Venue Management (CVM) is offering a School-Based Traineeship for students in years 10 and 11 in South Brisbane. The program provides paid, hands-on experience in the aquatic industry while completing a Certificate III in Sport, Aquatics & Recreation.

Locations include multiple CVM facilities across Brisbane, with rotations and ongoing mentorship. Eligibility requires Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or full working rights.

Qualifications

• School-Based Traineeship for Grade 10 and 11 students (15+ years old).
• Paid on-the-job experience while completing a Certificate III in Sport, Aquatics & Recreation.

We’re offering School-Based Traineeships for Grade 10 and 11 students (15+ years old), giving them hands‑on, paid experience in the Aquatic Industry while completing a Certificate III in Sport, Aquatics & Recreation, all while still at school!

CVM Traineeship highlights:

• Duration: 12–18 months
• Paid on-the-job experience: 1 x 8-hour shift/week
• Industry qualifications: CPR, First Aid & Swim Teaching
  (Pool Lifeguard optional after completing the first three qualifications)
• QCE Points: Earn up to 6 points
• Partner: Ampd Academy
