Job summary

City Venue Management (CVM) is recruiting casual Swim Teachers to join Rackley Swimming Deagon for the busy summer season in Brisbane. This role offers flexible shifts and opportunities to support customers in a fun aquatic setting, with potential for continued casual work after summer.

Ideal candidates are enthusiastic, reliable and team players who can engage with children and the local community, while maintaining safety and quality of instruction.

Qualifications

• Swim and Water Safety Teacher Qualification required or willing to obtain.
• Blue Card certification required before employment.
• CPR certification required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Teach, supervise and support customers in an aquatic environment.
• Provide friendly, proactive customer service to children and families.
• Maintain safety standards and enforce pool rules during lessons.

Qualifications Required or Willing to Obtain

• Swim and Water Safety Teacher Qualification.
• Blue Card.
• CPR.
• Applicants without the required qualifications must be willing to complete an upcoming mid-November Swim Teacher course before commencing. Courses are available through Ampd Academy or any accredited training provider.
• A paid Blue Card is required before employment. Please apply early, as processing typically takes 1–3 business days and may take longer if you need to obtain a Customer Reference Number (CRN) first.
