Job summary

PFD Food Services is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Victoria. You will be the first point of contact for customers, processing orders, handling enquiries and resolving issues with care in a fast-paced environment.

In this frontline role, you’ll build relationships, manage records and assist in coordinating orders, with opportunities to support multiple departments and promote our extensive product range. We value teamwork and a proactive, customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Professional phone manner and ability to build lasting customer relationships.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
• Confidence in selling and negotiating with customers.
• Intermediate Excel skills to manage records and reports.

Responsibilities

• Receive and manage a high volume of inbound customer calls.
• Process orders via phone, email, fax, and online channels.
• Make outbound calls to follow up with customers and share updates.
• Maintain reports, spreadsheets and customer records in Excel.
• Assist with banking, payment processing and account reconciliations.
• Handle and resolve customer complaints following procedures.
• Promote the product range during interactions.
• Create/update customer records and assist in setting up new accounts.
• Generate custom pantry/order sheets from history.
• Support other departments with admin tasks as needed.
• Adhere to health, safety, food safety, and compliance policies.
