Tridon Australia is seeking a friendly Customer Service representative for our busy call centre in Sydney. You will handle customer calls, process orders, and provide accurate information to support speedy service.

Ideal candidates have proven experience in customer service or a call centre, strong communication and typing skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.

• Answer customer telephone calls and address requests.
• Enter orders received by phone, email or other electronic means into the system.
• Use intermediate computer skills for order entry and system use.
• Clarify questions with customers about orders.
• Prepare order responses for EDI orders in the computer application.
• Resolve customer inquiries or refer to the relevant department.

Tridon Australia specialises in the manufacture and distribution of products to the industrial, automotive hardware and export markets. It is a 100% Australian owned and managed company. Due to one of customer service staff recently leaving we have the need for an additional Customer Service team member to join our friendly supportive call centre.

Qualifications & experience

Previous experience in customer service or call centre operations, delivering exceptional customer service in a dynamic fast paced office environment.

Ability to converse with customers in order to understand and accurately address customer needs while maintaining a professional manner.

Certificates of course completion in phone skills, word processing, and typing is advantageous.

Excellent communication, team player, attention to detail and prioritisation skills is essential.

Must be comfortable multitasking—talking and typing simultaneously.

Australian work rights are required for this position.

Tasks & responsibilities

Answer customer telephone calls and address customer requests.

Enter accurately and process orders received over the phone, sent by email or received by other electronic means into computer system.

Intermediate level computer proficiency is required for order entry and system use.

Contact the customer to clarify any questions that may relate to the customer's order.

Prepare order responses for EDI generated orders in the appropriate computer application.

Resolve customer enquiries using provided product details or refer the call to the relevant department.
