Beefy's is seeking a reliable Customer Service Assistant to join our Gympie and Traveston teams. The role is shared between stores with shifts starting as early as 4:00am and finishing around 7:00pm, on a rotating schedule.

Casual arrangement with potential to transition to permanent full-time. We offer consistent hours, opportunities for progression, and staff perks including free pastry per shift, staff discounts, and training.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service environments such as retail or hospitality.
• Ability to handle cash and POS transactions accurately.
• Barista experience or coffee knowledge is a plus.
• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service as the top priority.
• Keep service areas clean and store tidy at all times.
• Assist Store Manager with daily operations and guide junior staff.
• Present and prepare products to standards.
• Help achieve store KPIs.
• Open and close the store.

Customer Service Assistant - Gympie/Traveston

Customer Service Assistant - Opening & Closing Responsibilities - Gympie and Traveston Locations (shared role between the two locations).

$34.76 per hour + penalty rates + super *

This position is initially offered on a casual basis; however, for the right candidate there is potential to transition into a permanent full-time role.

Beefy's is a proudly Queensland-owned, multi-award-winning business operating 16 boutique Pie Bakery stores across South East Queensland and NSW.

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused team member to join our Gympie and Traveston teams. This role is a shared role, with shifts available between both store locations, and is ideal for an applicant with previous retail, hospitality or customer service experience including university students seeking consistent casual work with flexibility around their studies.

To be considered for this position, you must be available to work a rotating roster across Monday to Sunday, including opening shifts commencing from 4:00am and closing shifts finishing at approximately 7:00pm. Reliable transport is essential due to the early start times.

Duties will include:

• Ensuring excellence in Customer Service as the number 1 priority
• Ensuring service areas are maintained to the highest standards and store is kept clean and tidy at all times
• Supporting the Store Manager with day-to-day operations and providing guidance to junior team members.
• Product presentation & preparation
• Achieving store KPI's
• Opening & Closing of store
