Job summary

Australian Optimal Recruitment in Sydney is seeking a Customer Service & Supply Chain Assistant for a leading global fragrances and flavours business. Based on Sydney's Northern Beaches, the role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with commercial partners and key representatives, and ensuring on-time deliveries.

You will work with SAP, Atlas and Cristal, support forecast, monitor shipments, and help reduce inventory costs.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service and supply chain roles; SAP experience essential.
• Ability to develop and maintain client relationships and cross-functional collaboration.
• Organised with a proactive, can-do attitude; degree/diploma beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Promote customer-oriented value within the Supply Chain Organisation.
• Build relationships with Firmenich commercial partners and customers' key representatives.
• Provide solid customer service support to commercial and prospects.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet customer needs.
• Monitor on-time deliveries and address challenges to ensure timely PO issues.
• Communicate potential issues and action plans to customers clearly.
• Follow up on feedback and complaints and drive resolutions.
• Oversee overseas shipments and coordinate local plant supply to customers.
• Assist forecasting and inventory cost reduction through analysis.
