Job summary

City of Wagga Wagga is seeking a motivated customer service professional to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for community inquiries, you will deliver quality service in a fast-paced environment and support a range of civic requests.

The role is a 6-month, temporary full-time contract (35 hours per week) with remuneration per fortnight plus 12% superannuation. You will work collaboratively, handle cash, and contribute to efficient council services.

Qualifications

• Substantial previous customer service and/or administrative experience relevant to the role.
• Excellent time management.
• Organisational, communication and interpersonal skills; and
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Providing advice to internal and external customers.
• Undertaking call centre operations.
• Processing applications and requests
• Providing feedback to customers on unresolved issues in a timely manner; and
• Cash handling responsibilities including receipting and reconciliation.
