Job summary

BaptistCare is seeking a Customer Engagement Consultant for a 12-month maximum-term. You will engage with prospective customers and families across the Perth-South Metro and Peel region, guiding them from enquiry to closing the sale with a consultative, customer-led approach.

The role involves site visits, CRM record-keeping, and building referral networks. You’ll work in a trusted team, with performance KPIs and a focus on high-quality service, not transactional selling.

Qualifications

• Experience in solutions based selling focused on customer needs.
• Experience working towards service and sales KPIs.
• Strong understanding of the customer journey and a commitment to customer-centred service.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport with stakeholders.
• Strong time management, analytical and problem-solving capability.
• Polished presentation and public speaking skills.
• Positive, customer-focused approach and genuine desire to help people.
• Ability to work across multiple customers and locations.
• Knowledge of RADs, DAPs and low means conversations.
• Experience in aged care, health or allied health services, and CRM experience.

Responsibilities

• Build genuine relationships with prospective customers, families and decision-makers.
• Manage the customer journey from enquiry through to closing the sale.
• Meet customers in residential facilities or in their homes to explain services, agreements and fees.
• Arrange and conduct site tours and ensure facilities are ready to welcome prospects.
• Maintain accurate records of customer and referral engagements in the CRM.
• Build relationships with referral networks including GPs, hospitals, and community organisations.
• Attend and present at expos and events to promote BaptistCare.
• Contribute ideas to continually improve the customer experience.
