Job summary

Boral Limited in Launceston is seeking a committed Administration Officer for a 12-month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave. The role focuses on high-quality administration, order processing, and customer service to support the Regional Manager and Sales Manager.

The successful candidate will handle reception, purchasing tasks, and provide admin support while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships in a dynamic construction/production environment.

Qualifications

• Administration duties experience and great attention to detail.
• Customer-centric with strong customer service and stakeholder management skills.
• Can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
• Advanced computer skills and well-developed organizational skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and high volume of orders.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Manage reception at the office including meet and greet couriers and mail handling.
• Raising purchase orders, work orders, compiling spreadsheets and reports.
• Purchasing, invoicing and maintenance of all purchasing records including invoicing, order tracking and processing of dockets.
• Providing Admin support for Sales Manager and Regional Manager when necessary.
• Engaging with stakeholders and customers to provide efficient and friendly service.
• Engaging with Quarry & Plant managers to ensure orders are communicated.
