Job summary

Equifax Australia & New Zealand – Brisbane QLD is seeking an entry-level customer service representative to support Fit2Work background checks and employment screening. You will handle inquiries by phone, email and chat and guide customers through the process.

The role offers 3-4 weeks of structured training, a 4-day in-office collaboration Monday-Thursday with Friday remote, and opportunities for career progression plus benefits including extra leave, discounts, and development.

Qualifications

• Some experience in customer-facing roles is beneficial but training will be provided.
• Ability to solve customer problems and handle frustrations.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Familiarity with basic computer tools (Office suite, Google Workspace).

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service via phone, email and chat.
• Guide customers through background check and screening processes aligned to government requirements.

• Fulfil products and services according to SLA, following procedures.
