Job summary

CommBank Stanthorpe Branch is seeking a Customer Banking Specialist on a CONTRACT basis until April 2028. Part-time role of 30.25 hours per week with hours Monday–Thursday 9:00am–4:00pm and Friday 9:00am–1:15pm.

You will be the first point of contact, greeting customers, understanding enquiries, guiding them to the right channel, and showcasing in-branch technology and digital banking options to enhance their experience.

As the Customer Banking Specialist in our Stanthorpe Branch, you'll be the face of Commbank & the first person customers speak with, you will:

• Greet each customer & clearly understand their enquiry, guiding the customer to the appropriate channel
• Build personal connection with customers through meaningful conversations to enhance their experience
• Provide options for the customer through education & demonstration of our in-branch technology and digital banking options
• Be aware of movements within the branch, ensuring it's running effectively & efficiently and that customers are satisfied with their experience

You will be joining one of our Multi Channel Branches!

What is a Multi Channel Branch?

Between 9:30-1.00pm: Our Retail Branch services customers in the community face to face with their everyday banking needs, enquires & transactions. After 1.00pm: We assist our customers with their everyday banking needs and complaints via telephone or other digital channels in a contact centre environment.
