Job summary

CommBank in Stanthorpe is seeking a Customer Banking Specialist on a part-time contract to staff the branch with a friendly, client-focused approach.

You will greet customers, understand their enquiries, and guide them to the right channel while promoting in-branch and digital banking options. The roster is predetermined: Mon-Thu 9:00–16:00 and Fri 9:00–13:15, with contract through to April 2028.

• Proven track record in customer service, ideally financial services, retail or hospitality.
• Excellent communication skills with a professional demeanour.
• Ability to manage customer expectations with a confident presence.

• Contract opportunity until April 2028
• Part time - 30.25 hours per week
• Monday - Thursday 9.00am - 4.00pm
• Friday 9.00am - 1.15pm

As the Customer Banking Specialist in our Stanthorpe Branch, you'll be the face of Commbank & the first person customers speak with, you will:

• Greet each customer & clearly understand their enquiry, guiding the customer to the appropriate channel
• Build personal connection with customers through meaningful conversations to enhance their experience
• Provide options for the customer through education & demonstration of our in-branch technology and digital banking options
• Be aware of movements within the branch, ensuring it's running effectively & efficiently and that customers are satisfied with their experience

You will be joining one of our Multi Channel Branches!

What is a Multi Channel Branch?

• Between 9:30-1.00pm: Our Retail Branch services customers in the community face to face with their everyday banking needs, enquires & transactions.
• After 1.00pm: We assist our customers with their everyday banking needs and complaints via telephone or other digital channels in a contact centre environment.

• A proven track record of delivering exceptional Customer Service ideally in Financial Services, Retail or Hospitality
