Job summary

CSC Group Australia is seeking a Manufacturing Project Manager to drive custom and made-to-order projects from sign-off to production release. You will align estimates, CAD inputs and production plans to keep jobs moving and visible.

You will lead the Estimating and CAD team, coordinate with procurement and operations, and build a clear pipeline that highlights owners, due dates, risks and next steps. This new role offers the chance to design practical systems, reduce bottlenecks, and convert

Qualifications

• Experience in production planning, scheduling, and workflow management in manufacturing.
• PM experience with multi-stage projects, gates, owners, priorities and deadlines.
• Metal fabrication or industrial product experience.
• Knowledge of made-to-order manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and creating production orders.
• Purchasing exposure and ability to specify requirements against production dates.
• Ability to read technical drawings and BOMs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee custom job workflow from requirements to production release and ensure smooth progression.
• Lead and coach Estimating and CAD teams; set priorities and delivery expectations.
• Create and release production orders, verify BOM accuracy and purchasing needs.
• Coordinate with procurement to ensure component availability for production.
• Maintain a visual project pipeline showing status, owner, next step and dates.
• Manage new product development funnel with gates and owners.
• Productize repeat work into catalogued products or SKUs.
• Collaborate with SMEs to resolve issues and prevent stalls.
• Monitor post-production reviews and drive corrective actions.
