Desi Dhaba Indian Restaurant in Melbourne is seeking a Curry/Tandoori Chef to oversee all aspects of Indian dishes, lead the kitchen team, and develop authentic menus. You will source ingredients, ensure high quality and presentation, and bring creativity to traditional recipes while preserving cultural authenticity.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience as Chef in Curry and Tandoori sections.
• Certificate III or IV in commercial cooking is required.
• Positive Skill Assessment as Chef.

Responsabilités

• Oversee all aspects of food preparation, cooking, and presentation of Indian dishes.
• Manage kitchen team, develop menus, source ingredients, maintain high quality.
• Train and mentor kitchen staff in Indian cooking techniques and flavors.
• Establish relationships with suppliers to ensure fresh ingredients.
