Join St Columban's College, Caboolture and drive the school’s mission by leading learning and teaching at a strategic level.Provide strategic and operational leadership in the development and management of the College timetable working closely with College Leadership and curriculum leaders to translate curriculum, staffing and student requirements into an effective timetable that supports the learning priorities of the College. As a Middle Leader you will exercise sound judgement in resolving timetable complexities, managing competing requirements and recommending solutions that optimise the use of staff, learning spaces and College resources.

• Work hours:30.00
• Salary: $86,601 - $124,725 per annum + Middle Leader Tier 4 Allowance + 12.75% Super
• Status: Full Time Fixed Term

About the opportunity

In this position you will be responsible for:

• Leading student timetabling for the school
• Leading the overall curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation across the school under the direction of Senior Leadership
• Applying contemporary learning and teaching research to classroom practice through whole-school professional development and targeted support for teacher improvement
• Collaborating with Curriculum Leaders, teaching staff, and Senior Leadership to review curriculum frameworks and plan future directions
• Leading teacher performance through professional dialogue, reflective practice, and formal/informal goal setting and appraisal
• Staying current with curriculum and pedagogy developments and guiding whole-school professional learning accordingly
• Providing induction and mentoring for beginning teachers in collaboration with Senior Leadership and Curriculum Leaders
• Supervising student learning across the school using internal and external data, and implementing strategic interventions
• Contributing to school leadership through active participation in staff and middle leadership meetings
• Managing financial and material resources within the curriculum area, including budget planning and expenditure

• Developed work programs in alignment with national, state, and local requirements.
• Driving the assessment and moderation process when developing new programs.
• Leading and innovating within a specified curriculum area.
